PMP equipment sessions

 The children are loving being active during our PMP sessions.

PMP is a great way to improve our gross-motor movement skills.

 The children were so excited to have their first session with our school Kapa Haka tutors this year. 

They loved using the poi and learning tī rākau.

Commonwealth Games

 We are all so proud of our New Zealand athletes competing in the Commonwealth games. It is very exciting when we get to watch some of the events at school. Take a look at us cheering our awesome athletes on!

We are checking the medal table every day to keep track of our efforts. We have also included England, Scotland and India as some of us come from those countries. We love watching the progress!!

Whānau Day

Here are our fabulous learners who received a certificate for showing Manawanuitanga this term.

The children were so excited to reach the goal of 3000 whānau cards and to have another fun reward day this term. We had a lot of fun in our whānau groups and dressing up in our whānau (house) colours.

Pause breathe Smile reflection

This term the children have been taking part in the Pause Breathe Smile programme. They have been learning how to practise mindfulness and how we can use it in our everyday lives.





Some areas that we explored were:


Understanding why we practise mindfulness and how we can use it in our lives. 


Happiness Here and Now-practising gratitude.


Noticing emotions and how they can change. Exploring how mindfulness helps us to let them change.


Dropping anchor with mindful breathing and calming unsettled thoughts.


Kindness makes us healthier and happier.
