Team work makes the dream work - Kotahitanga in Tī Kōuka

Over the last 2 weeks, we have been exploring the scientific concepts of day and night and how important our sun is.

While doing these activities Tī Kōuka has been doing a fantastic job of showing Kotahitanga.

"We made a model of the Earth and moon orbiting the sun"  (Eliza)

We took turns teaching and helping a buddy how to do it. Once we learned how to do it we could help someone else. We tried really hard not to do it all for our buddy but instead tried to explain to them how to do it themself. 

When it got really tricky we worked together.

For our shadow experiment, we also had to work together and take turns. 

We helped each other use Book Creator to take photos and share our thinking.
