Fri-YAY in Ti Kouka

 We have had an awesome day today in our Blue and Yellow for Ukraine. We love dressing up in support of others and being able to make a difference. 

We also have been so lucky that the PTA has gifted us some new magnetic tiles. We are so excited to have  brand new pieces to help build big creations. We love seeing what we can make. Have a look at some of our creations this week. THANK YOU PTA :)

The Power of Yet

 For writing today we talked about how we change our mindset when things get tricky and tell ourselves that we can't do it 'yet'.

How to be a great mathematician

Our value focus this week has been about exploring how the children can show manawanuitanga and be their best self. During maths we have been exploring how we can be great mathematicians. Here is the list of ideas that the children came up with:

Today's Whole School Virtue Assembly

At today's virtual assembly the school leaders explained our new value focus for the next two weeks: 

Manawanuitanga

Here are the fantastic learners who have been showing kaitiakitanga and manawanuitanga in Tī Kōuka.

We are working hard to earn enough whanau cards to have our whole school 'Fun Friday'.

Whero and Kakariki were our house winners this week and collected the most whanau cards.

Week 7 Fun

 We have had a great week in our studio this week. We have been continuing to learn about our value, Kaitiakitanga, being a guardian of knowledge, resources, and the environment. 

We have been looking after our equipment and using them in the right way.

Young Ocean Explorers
